How can we help women thrive in menopause?

Date

Four women holding yoga mats, walking and laughing

Menopause is the natural biological transition that marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years and is an inevitable part of ageing that, at any given time, affects a third of the entire female population. Yet it’s a topic that’s overlooked, misunderstood and often treated as taboo. So today we want to ask – how can we help women thrive in menopause?

Host Rich Williams is joined by University of Leeds academics Dr Bee MacPherson, Associate Professor of Clinical Education in the School of Medicine; Professor Janet Cade, leader of the Nutritional Epidemiology Group; and Dr Hannah Campbell, Human Physiology Programme Lead and a Lecturer in Applied Human Physiology at the School of Biomedical Science.
